Every other year the Art Guild is given access to the library wall. The 2024 show will be held in the month of January. The space is limited to approximately 25 feet in length, and can accommodate 10 to 12 2D artworks measuring 10 to 20 inches in width.
The big news is we are scheduled for the Columbine Library Art Wall in January of 2024!
This the official call for entry. Please let Cindy Marshall know if you would like to show a piece. The space is not large so we cannot accommodate 2D pieces much more that about 20 inches wide. If it's a bit over it may be something that can be discussed.
Please email Cindy the title of the piece, the dimensions, the medium and if it is for sale or not. We are not able to list sale prices next to the art, but the main desk will maintain of list of pieces for sale and how to contact individual artists. All work needs to be able to hang by a wire, no sawtooth hangers please.
We will be hanging the show Tuesday, January 2, time TBA and it will continue through the month of January. If you are not available to hang your piece, please contact Cindy to make other arrangements. She can take a few over as the space limits the quantity of pieces we may show.
If you have not had your work in a public setting or shown your art in a gallery this is a great way to test the water.
Please let Cindy know if you plan to participate in the library show by Monday December 4.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please email Cindy Marshall through the Contact Us page on this website or give her a call.
Cindy Marshall has discussed with the KC Ranch staff the possibility of collaborative efforts on future KC Ranch events, with KCAG providing consulting assistance related to organizing and judging art events, and also holding our own shows at the same time using KC Ranch facilities, e.g., the Ranch House and Dakota Lodge.
A tentative date of June 29th, 2024 was selected for a combined KC Ranch and KCAG event.
