KCAG Holiday Party!

The Annual KCAG Members Holiday Party was held on Thursday evening, December 16th. Thanks to our President, Cindy Marshall, for hosting a lovely event. A very nice time was had by all who were able to attend. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to seeing everyone and their lovely art in 2022.


2021/2022 West Mineral Show

Cindy Marshall, our President, located the exhibit venue for us again at 1101 W. Mineral St. in Littleton. KCAG members are currently showcasing their art from mid-October till January, 2022 on the walls of 1st and 2nd floors of the lobby. For those of you not familiar with this venue, it is an office building with a lobby that offers rotating artists an opportunity to show and possibly sell their work.

Larry and Petra Perkins Book Publication:
KCAG members Larry and Petra Perkins announced publication of their new book FULL CIRCLE: A Hands-On Affair with the First Ferrari 250 GTO. It is a memoir 9 years in the making, and includes chapters and photos about Larry's bronze sculptures, racing and aerospace careers, and discussions by Petra about art in Italy and cars-as-art. It will be out in September, but may be pre-ordered on their website, which also contains a summary and sample chapter. Additional information may be obtained from Petra at

Petra Perkins:
Also, Petra participated in "Female Alchemy", an all-women's art exhibit at SassaBird Gallery ( on Santa Fe which ran from June 5 to September 5, 2021. She is showed "Zelda", a bronze sculpture, half zebra, half horse (see her show bio and other artworks at

Other Member Showings:
Several present (and past) KCAG members are showing their work at the virtual Arapaho Community College 19th Annual Kaleidoscope Exhibition, which features works from local artists throughout the community. Some of the exhibit entries are shown here, while the full virtual exhibit including the other works by these artists may be viewed online at

KCAG 2021 Beer BrewHa at Dakota Lodge

KCAG sponsored a pop-up art show event at the Ken Caryl BeerBrewHa on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Dakota Lodge. This one-day event provided a chance for members to show and sell art to the Ken Caryl community, and create new "buzz" about the Guild.


Annual Jeffco Public High Schools Art Show 2021
The Jeffco Public High School art show is usually on display at the Arvada Center for the Arts on Wadsworth Blvd, however, this year's show is being held online.

The KCAG Award went to Danica Smith from Dakota Ridge High School for her drawing, 'Skates'.

KCAG Congratulations!

Cindy Marshall:
Cindy Marshall and Theresa Davis exhibited a selection of their fine art prints at the Mineral Building located at 1101 W. Mineral Ave, Littleton. The show was titled “Two Friends and a Pandemic” and ran from January 15 to February 26. Cindy also reports that she was awarded Artist of the Year for 2020 by the Mineral Building Exhibit Manager for her work shown during the KCAG member show held at the facility last year. Michele Sires-DeLorean:
Michele Sires-DeLorean had her work “I’m Your Man” accepted to the Love or Something Like It show at CORE New Art Space, 6851 W Colfax Ave in Lakewood. The exhibit dates were February 12th – February 28th, 2021, with an Opening Reception that was held on Friday, February 12th.

Alexis McDowell:
Alexis McDowell’s Denver Redlining was accepted into the D’Art Gallery Emerge show which ran from December 12 to January 12. The piece will also be in the Foothills Art Center from January 29 until April 25, 2021. The Foothills Member Show is doing an opening for members. Here is a link:

Judith Ahlborn:
Judith Ahlborn had two textile art pieces accepted into the Houston International Quilt Festival which was held online from November 2020 to March 2021. She also has a series piece of images from New Orleans that was accepted into the Front Range Contemporary Quilters yearly online exhibit, Portfolio 2021 - The Best of 2020. It was one of only 24 pieces accepted. You can view their exhibits at

KCAG Live Exhibit at West Mineral

Cindy Marshall, our President, located a new exhibit venue for us at 1101 W. Mineral St. in Littleton. KCAG members had a show from mid-October till January, 2021, and 29 artworks are on the walls of 1st and 2nd floors of the lobby.
