Michele Sires-DeLorean:
Michele Sires-DeLorean's work 'Dogs of a Feather' (30 x 30 acrylic, see at right) was been accepted for the Gone To The Dogs With Friends show at the Niza Knoll Gallery, 915 Santa Fe Drive from July 3 - Aug 1. Open Fri and Sat from 1-5 pm. Masks required with six viewers limit at one time, and online too at nizaknollgallery.com.
Cindy Marshall:
Cindy Marshall had two pieces accepted for Arapahoe Community College virtual Kaleidoscope show. The works are titled 'The Boatman' and 'Bamboo Forest', both polymer oil etches. The show will run virtually from July 14 to August 14, and can be visited at arapahoe.edu/2020-kaleidoscope. Cindy also had a number of pieces on physical display at Atlas Coffee in the King Soopers shop area, and were available for personal viewing July 1 - 31.
Bruce Nall:
Bruce Nall had his photograph titled 'Transience' juried into the virtual Kaleidoscope Exhibition sponsored by the Colorado Gallery of Art at Arapahoe Community College. The show will be open for viewing July 13 to August 14, and can be visited at https://www.arapahoe.edu/campus-community/art-galleries
Stefan Begej:
Stefan Begej has been awarded a solo show titled Fragmentations in the Community Gallery of the Foothills Arts Center in Golden. Ten music-themed artworks will be on display, each representing the emotion of exuberance within different music genres, and include instruments such as a bass guitar (2011), clarinet (2012), saxophone (2013), harmonica (2014), mandolin (2015), electric keyboard (2015), viola (2016), xylophone (2016), and cymbal (2019). Stefan's exhibit in the FAC Community Gallery will run from July 20 to September 13, and will overlap their main gallery exhibit titled Held in Suspension by Mattie O from July 31 to October 25 (so both exhibits could be seen at the same time after July 30) The FAC is located at 809 15th St. in Golden, with admission being FREE this year. The gallery hours are Mon, Fri, & Sat 10 am - 5 pm, Sun 12 pm - 5 pm, but closed on Tues, Wed, & Thurs. Face masks and proper social distancing practices are required, with the gallery capacity limited to 10 individuals at a time.
